Does Haylo send messages automatically?

No. Haylo opens Apple Messages with a draft pre-filled — you review it and tap send. Nothing goes out without your approval, every time.

Does Haylo work with SMS and iMessage?

Yes. Haylo works with both iMessage and SMS through Apple Messages. No app required for the recipient.

Where is my data stored?

Everything lives on your iPhone. Your contacts, schedules, and message drafts are stored locally and never uploaded to a server.

How does the AI draft work?

When a reminder fires, Haylo generates a draft based on your relationship type and tone settings. You can send it as-is, edit it, or generate a new one.

How do I change the tone of messages?

Each person in Haylo has their own message style settings. Tap their name in the People tab to adjust tone, humor style, message length, and more.

What’s included in Haylo Free?

Free includes up to 2 people, 5 AI generations per calendar month, Warm message style, and 1 reminder window per enabled day. Reminders, manual editing, and sending are always free.

What’s Haylo+?

Haylo+ is $8.99/month. It unlocks unlimited people, more AI-assisted messages, advanced scheduling, relationship details, and all message styles with tone and humor controls.

How do I restore purchases?

In Haylo, open Settings → About → Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID that bought Haylo+. If you still need help, email support@heyhaylo.app.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Haylo+ to cancel or manage. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple.

I hit the Free AI limit — can I still send?

Yes. You can still type, edit, and send messages. AI drafting is paused until next month or until you upgrade to Haylo+.

How do I enable notifications?

Open Haylo → Settings tab → tap “Enable notifications.” You can also manage this in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Haylo.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the Haylo app from your iPhone to remove all locally stored data. To request deletion of any data we hold, email support@heyhaylo.app.
