Information we collect
  1. Account and contact details you provide (such as your name or email) when you contact us or join the beta.
  2. People and reminders you add in the app (for example names, schedules, and message drafts you create or edit).
  3. Device and usage data needed to run the app and TestFlight beta (such as device type, OS version, crash logs, and basic diagnostics).
  4. Purchase and subscription data processed by Apple when you buy or restore Haylo+ (for example transaction identifiers and entitlement status). We do not receive your full payment card details.
  5. AI-assisted draft messages — when you request a draft, Haylo sends your relationship type and tone preferences to our AI provider. The recipient’s name, phone number, and prior message content are never included. You review every draft before anything is sent.
How we use information
  1. To provide reminders, drafts, subscription entitlements, and related app features.
  2. To improve Haylo, fix bugs, and understand how the beta is working.
  3. To respond to support and feedback you send us.
  4. To comply with law and protect the service.
AI-assisted drafts
  1. When you use drafting features, content you provide (and related context you choose to include) may be processed to generate a suggested message.
  2. You stay in control: you can edit, discard, or send.
  3. We do not use your private message content to contact your friends or family for you.
Sharing
  1. We do not sell your personal information.
  2. We may share data with service providers who help us operate Haylo (for example hosting, analytics, or AI processing), only as needed to provide the service.
  3. We may share with Apple as part of TestFlight and App Store distribution.
  4. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention
  1. We keep information only as long as needed to provide Haylo, support the beta, and meet legal obligations.
  2. You can ask us to delete account-related data you have provided by emailing support.
Your choices
  1. You control who you add, when reminders fire, and whether a draft is sent.
  2. You can stop using the beta and delete the app at any time.
  3. Contact us to request access or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Children
  1. Haylo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
  1. We may update this policy as Haylo evolves.
  2. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
